| Some of Naples finest saltwater fishing occurs in the Naples area. This area of Naples has some of the best backcountry and flats fishing in the state. Naples extensive networks of Bay Estuaries, Mangrove Islands |
| along with Oyster bars and sea-grass flats that attract an abundance of saltwater fish. Roaming these waters are Naples most sought after game fish, the Redfish, Snook, Sea Trout and the Tarpon. In addition to fishing in this area, Napless wildlife provides extraordinary experiences. Birds of prey, such as the Bald Eagle and Ospreys as well as wading birds commonly observed icludes Egrets,Snowy Egrets,Roseate spoonbills, Great Blue Heron, White and Snowy Ibis. As for sea life, Dolphins are seen on almost every trip. Manatees and Sea Turtles are usually seen as well. We use light tackle spinning gear rigged with 8-12 pound test line, when fishing in the backwaters or inshore drifting in and out of the passes. Fly fisherman will enjoy sight casting to many tailing fish. Light tackle spinning gear allows for a great deal of flexibility when fishing in the backwaters. You do not need to have expert casting skills to catch fish. |
